A man has been decapitated at a chemical factory in France by a group of men carrying Islamist banners, according to reports. The attack took place on an industrial estate in the southern city of Grenoble this morning and is believed to have been accompanied by several explosions on the site. It is not yet known what caused the explosions, but witnesses at the scene claimed there more than one man was involved in the attack and that the perpetrators were carrying Islamist flags. The victim's body was discovered at the site shorty afterwards, with the decapitated head several yards away, according to a local journalist.

Sky News reported that a man has already been arrested at the scene, telling police officers that he is a member of the Islamic State terror group. The attack comes just six months after the Charlie Hebdo attack on January 7, when two Islamist gunmen forced their way into the Paris headquarters of the satirical magazine and opened fire, killing twelve. ISIS terrorists also claimed responsibility for that attack.
