Skin on Skin is a short film that follows the footsteps of a young runaway girl chasing her dreams as she discovers the world of beauty inherent inside of herself and each of us. Travel with her as she explores her dreams with perseverance, beauty, and courage, then loses the love of her life, her fiancé, (late rock icon guitarist, Steve Clark from multi-platinum rock band Def Leppard,) at the height of her career as a model/muse to the Grand Masters of Fashion. Skin on Skin is based on the best selling memoire, Runway RunAway: A Backstage Pass to Fashion, Romance and Rock 'n Roll. Lorelei Shellist, model, designer, producer, also works tirelessly with women in prison and at-risk teens. She shares her true and candid story illustrating how just below the surface of our skin -one dream always leads to another.
Skin on Skin includes authentic, vintage VHS film footage from Lorelei's own video archives, runway fashion shows, (circa 1980's, Paris, France,) and behind the scenes footage of Def Leppard's Hysteria World Tour 1987-1989 Original music composed by Peitor Angell - with musical **** "Switch 625" written by Steve Clark of Def Leppard.
The film features fashions from theRunway Runaway Collection®, a women's apparel line "for the woman on the run who thrives in her skin" by Lorelei Shellist. The cast and crew includes deaf talent, and actors from culturally diverse backgrounds highlighting the RRC's signature item ~The Dream Dress®

Lorelei Shellist is an author, producer, designer and speaker. As the founder of the Fashion Icon Archetypes™ program, Lorelei empowers women through beauty and fashion. Lorelei Shellist brings new meaning to the definition of "supermodel." Having been a graceful and spirited muse for Chanel's Karl Lagerfeld, Yves Saint Laurent, Christian LaCroix, Bob Mackie, Geoffrey Beene and Giorgio Armani, Lorelei received first-hand experience on how to bring art and dreams to life from many of the world's greatest designers. In her memoir, "Runway Runaway: A Backstage Pass to Fashion, Romance & Rock 'n Roll," Lorelei inspires with her perseverance, determination, survival skills, and wit.
Beyond the runway, Lorelei has appeared internationally in films, TV, commercials, and print, and is a singer/songwriter. She holds degrees from the Masters programs in Spiritual Psychology and Consciousness, Health, and Healing from the University of Santa Monica, and is a graduate of Alison Armstrong's "PAX Programs: Peace Between Men and Women." In addition, she is a facilitating counselor with the Freedom to Choose Foundation 501(c)(3), working with inmates at Valley State Prison for Women. Her own **** organization, I AM Dreams With Wings, teaches critical life skills to at-risk teens for class credit. Lorelei also offers two scholarships at Mesa College in San Diego. The Shellist Music Scholarship provides a full tuition for vocational students of music, and the Runway Runaway Fashion Design Scholarship for students in fashion. Lorelei was an active Ambassador on the campaign trail when Marianne Williamson ran for congress in Los Angeles CA.
