Q - How do I join?
A - A detailed description of the registration process is located HERE

Q - Why am I unable to log into the site?
A - There are several possible reasons, these are the most common
  • Your user account is not active yet. If you have recently joined, there may be a delay before access to the USPA member area is permitted.
  • If you have logged in before but find yourself unable to, it is possible you may have tried logging in to the site too many times with the wrong (username or password). If you attempt too many times unsuccessfully, the system will block your IP address from being able to access the site.
  • Make sure there are NO SPACES in the user name. If you attempted to create a user name/login with a space, the form will not be processed and a login (username/password) will not be created.
  • Be sure you are logging in to the correct area. Editors only will be able to log in using the login field in the top right of the website. Members should use the login menu located on the right side of the website located below the site (header/logo).
  • It is possible you never created a user login/profile.
Q - Why does the web URL (profile web address) not match my member ID?
A - They are not meant to be the same. The web URL # is a unique system identifier and assures that over the course of an indefinite number of years there will never be 2 numbers exactly alike. In rare instances a member ID number may be issued multiple times, but never at the same time.

Q - I just received confirmation from PayPal that I have completed my payment. How long do I have to wait for my member ID?
A - There are several answers to this question, and we encourage everyone to thoroughly read the Membership Registration Process Page HERE.
Q - What does my ID photo need to look like and how do I upload my photo?
AThe ID photo should be 2 x 2 inches (51 x 51 mm) or 450px x 450px in size, have a solid background, be a direct view of the face (no profiles, no selfies, no busy backgrounds, no other people in proximity/touching your head in the picture, no hats, no sunglasses). There should be an even amount of space around your head in the picture. If an image is too oblong the proportions will not look right on your ID.
If these specifications have not been met, it could lead to additional time processing your member application or renewal.

Additional information can be found on the Member Registration Process Page.
Q - What if I do not have a PayPal account, how can I pay?
A - You do not need a PayPal account to pay via PayPal, they simply process the payment. We also have additional payment methods that you can read about HERE

Q - Why can't I post to uspressassociation(.)org?

A - Since January 1, 2017 any new submissions, news or posts should be posted to uspressassociation(.)com

Q - There is a (concert, tradeshow, summit, meeting, or other event) I would like to cover, how do I go about doing this?

A - There are multiple answers to this question but the best place to start would be to log into your account, and complete the Credential Assistance form located in your Member Resources menu.
