If you are using an alternate name for your credentials, this must be disclosed to the US Press Association so it can be kept on record for verification purposes. US Press Association is not responsible for shipments that are send to an incorrect address due to user error ie. The membership process will also be terminated if it is found that the registration process is being initiated or completed by anyone other that that of the intended member unless a group membership is being fulfilled by one individual for the rest of their company/group. Termination of membership and credentials will forfeit the possibility of full reimbursement and initiate a refund of through the 3rd party payment processor (PayPal etc). Depending upon the degree of inaccuracy or blatant attempt of falsification the US Press Association may choose to notify the proper authorities and offer full cooperation. Production start time may take as long as 3 days depending on several variables including but not limited to (email server error, incorrect information submitted in any form, USPA staffing levels, other natural acts of God). Upon completion of the physical document, the item will be shipped either through the USPS, FedEx, UPS or other shipping provider. Shipping may take 14 days or longer depending on pre-mentioned or other variables, with the exception of downloaded material. Member may choose the option of downloading any or all material(s). The purchase of a membership includes both physical and virtual items and services.  The refund amount for any membership purchase will only be for that of the ID card (Basic Membership, Pro Membership, International Membership, Group Membership, Media Partner Membership, Lifetime Membership) and will be ($9.00 per ID card). Under no circumstance will there be a refund for memberships with the digital delivery option for credentials, ID or any other digital media (download, email, attachments etc). If member chooses to download items rather that have them shipped there will be no reimbursement in full or partially. All cancelled memberships require return of the physical items sent in the packet. Total time from purchase of membership to receipt of package could take up to 45 days depending on variables such as incomplete forms, quality of photo submitted for ID, carrier services etc. What constitutes the completed process is when the tracking number of the package sent is registered as delivered. The other system in place is the modified member agreement and digital signature agreeing to the terms of use/service.
There are NO refunds issued due to the scope of usability of the member ID.
Not being accepted for an assignment, not being issued media credentials despite completing a credential assistance form is not grounds for refund.
